Partnerships

Care that reaches people where they already are.

We work with masjids, schools and campuses to bring counselling into trusted community spaces, and with funders who help make that care affordable.

What is our Masjid Counselling Program?

We partner with masjids to address the growing mental health needs within our communities, currently with the Halton Islamic Association in Burlington and the Thunder Bay Muslim Religious Association. Through this program, every individual receives personalized care that nurtures both their spiritual and mental well-being, a holistic model that starts with spiritual guidance in the masjid and transitions seamlessly to professional counselling.

By bringing licensed counselling into the masjid, these communities can offer support that goes beyond traditional spiritual guidance, integrating the wisdom of Islamic teachings with professional therapeutic practice.

Holistic care

Services start with spiritual guidance in the masjid and seamlessly transition to professional counselling, one continuous support system.

Accessibility & comfort

Counselling within a trusted community environment, for those who may feel hesitant to seek help elsewhere.

Flexible, culturally sensitive

Work with a counsellor through your masjid or choose from our other licensed, religiously informed counsellors.

Affordable & inclusive

Many sessions are covered by medical insurance, and subsidized rates ensure financial barriers don't prevent care.

Community partners

Schools and Muslim Students' Associations where we provide care together. Students at partner campuses can choose their university on our Get matched form.
