Summera is an empathetic and compassionate therapist in training with and experience in clinical counselling and mental health support. She believes in having an intuitive, warm, caring, and sensitive stance on my clients’ needs and procuring genuine concern for people and their struggles.
Summera has a critical understanding of evidence-based modalities such as Cognitive-Behavioural therapy, Solution-Focused Therapy, Narrative Therapy and Client-Centered approach. She maintains an ethical-based, culturally considered, non-judgmental and strength-based approach throughout my client relationship.
Her areas of practice are anxiety, depression, trauma, grief, relationship issues, marital issues, parenting issues, self-esteem, stress management, women issues and empowerment, family issues, new immigrant mental health support, and religious struggles.

Her areas of practice are anxiety, depression, trauma, grief, relationship issues, marital issues, parenting issues, self-esteem, self-doubt, anger management, stress management, women’s issues and empowerment, family issues, new immigrant mental health support, and religious struggles.
She is passionate about integrating psychology and the Islamic sciences. She is completing her Diploma in Islamic Psychology at Cambridge Muslim College (UK), which focuses on learning to integrate traditional Islamic principles and psychology to develop an Islamically orientated approach to psychotherapy. It aims to bridge modern psychology and Islamic principles to destigmatize mental health.
