Moustapha Djalal (MA, PMP, RPq, CCC) is a Registered Psychotherapist (Qualifying) and Canadian Certified Counsellor providing culturally responsive, trauma-informed care for individuals and couples. As a Black Muslim man of African and Arab descent raised in Canada, he deeply understands the complex intersections of identity, faith, and systemic adversity. Fluent in French and English, Moustapha offers a warm, inclusive, and culturally safe therapeutic space that gracefully bridges clinical science with profound spiritual empathy. Grounded in his lived experience as a dedicated husband and father, he anchors his practice in the authentic realities of family dynamics. Moustapha flexibly tailors his approach to each client, utilizing evidence-based modalities including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Parts Work (IFS), Somatic interventions, Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFCT), the Gottman Method, and more. Drawing from a diverse background spanning behavioral mediation to executive strategy, he brings a grounded, emotionally regulated framework to his sessions.
