Khadijah Khan
Community/Social Services Worker
Khadijah Khan recently completed her Bachelor of Social Work and Minor in Global Health at York University. She will be pursuing a Master of Social Work at the University of Toronto. Through her work with Canadian Muslim Counselling, she coordinates workshops for universities, masjids and schools to promote faith-centered care and strengthen community wellbeing.
In addition to her work with CMC, Khadijah is involved in community initiatives that create spaces for connection within the Muslim community. She is also a student of the Qur’an, which shapes her approach to growth, character and service.
Her work is grounded in Prophetic teachings that shape her one-on-one interactions through presence, empathy, and care. This relationship-centered approach reflects a decolonizing perspective that prioritizes human connection over rigid clinical distance. She believes that when individuals come to know and heal themselves, they reconnect with their Creator, leading to inner and outward transformation within individuals and their communities.
