Fozy Ismail – MBA, MA (In progress), RP (Q)

Psychotherapist (Qualifying) – Request Consultation

Research has shown that the most important aspect of successful therapy is the relationship between the client and the therapist. Fozy has focused on building effective relationships for over twenty years. She learned how to listen, communicate and understand complex situations while working at the federal and provincial governments, including at two Minister’s offices. Her work at the Toronto Metropolitan University, in both the Vice President’s office and the Diversity Institute, taught her that sincerity, empathy and trust are critical to positive interactions. Also, she values giving people the benefit of the doubt, because it is a Sunnah and because it is in her nature.

Her MBA from the University of Toronto enhanced her analytical and decision-making skills. Her Masters in Counselling Psychology developed her ability to make people feel comfortable by providing a judgement-free space and having a warm, caring and gentle approach. She believes in continuous learning and is currently pursuing an Islamic Scholar Certificate at the Ribaat Academic Institute.

Fozy welcomes you with respect, acceptance, patience and a smile.
