Psychotherapist (Qualifying) – Request Consultation

Fatima is a psychotherapist in training and currently pursuing a masters level certification in psychotherapy at the Toronto Centre for Psychotherapy Education and Counselling. She holds an Alimiyyah Degree in Islamic and Arabic studies from Darul Uloom Al Madania as well as a Diploma with honours from Durham College in the field of Early Childhood Education. She speaks English primarily but understands and can speak Urdu and Gujarati as well.

Fatima hopes to provide a safe, non-judgmental space for you to share your experience and to use her empathy to help you manage struggles or achieve goals as you hope.

While she is still building her repertoire, her approach is inspired by relational psychotherapy, client-centred and faith-based principles. She will also utilize other modalities, such as CBT, mindfulness or solution-focused, depending on your unique situation.

As Fatima continues to grow and learn, she hopes to further her work with children as well as couples and families needing support.
