Her academic journey began with a Life Sciences degree at McMaster University, where her fascination with understanding human behaviour and crisis intervention took root. Eager to delve deeper into the intricacies of psychology, Basma went on to pursue a post-graduate diploma in Professional addiction studies at McMaster University and went on t o the Yorkville University MA in Counselling Psychology and Psychotherapy program.
