Bashayer is an intern who approaches therapy with curiosity, compassion, and collaboration. She believes that clients are the experts of their own lives and values creating a space where they can explore their experiences without judgment or pressure to have everything figured out.
Her areas of interest include Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT) and Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), while her work is also informed by a trauma-sensitive perspective. She is particularly interested in understanding how difficult experiences can shape emotions, relationships, and a person’s sense of self. Beyond symptom relief, Bashayer is drawn to helping clients develop a deeper understanding of themselves, their patterns, and what matters to them. She hopes to support clients in reconnecting with parts of themselves that may have become lost or disconnected and in moving toward a life that feels more intentional, meaningful, and authentic to them.
