Canadian Muslim Counselling is a not-for-profit community agency governed by a volunteer board of directors.

Our mission at Canadian Muslim Counselling is to provide affordable e-mental health services to significantly improve the spiritual, psychological, social, emotional and economic well-being of diverse communities across Canada.

We empower our clients to create meaningful changes in their lives by: understanding their health concerns comprehensively through education and collaborative care. We provide psychotherapeutic treatments which are spiritually, culturally and linguistically sensitive to produce optimal outcomes for our clients.

    Confidential

    Canadian Muslim Counselling staff are Registered Psychotherapists (RP) and/or supervised by RPs. We operate in accordance to CRPO’s and OCSWSSW’s confidentiality standards. All client information is treated with a high degree of confidentiality

    Safe

    We take a client-centric approach that provides our patients with a confidential, non-judgemental, safe environment that fosters a journey of growth, healing, renewal and empowerment.

    Affordable

    Our goal is to break that stigma and provide comprehensive, affordable psychotherapy options for everyone. Our fees are 30% less than the industry average. We also provide clients with sliding scale options on top of our reduced fees.

    Navigating the world of private clinical practice can be scary! Whether you’ve been in private practice for years, or are just starting to think about the opportunity, there are many things to consider.

    At Canadian Muslim Counselling, we are a team of counsellors passionate about the work we do and the clients we meet with. Following a servant leadership strategy that believes attentive communication, professional support, and a “team-first” mentality are key to everyone’s success, CMC welcomes clinicians who are motivated and passionate about growing their practices in a collaborative setting.

    As an Associate at CMC, you will receive:

    • Regular referrals and referral tracking are provided to you through CMC.
    • Monthly group supervision allows for regular collaboration and consultation and regular individual consultation so you can get the support you need with your clients. 
    • Mentorship to answer questions and support you as you build your private practice.
    • General receptionist services.
    • The right to be included on our website and marketing initiatives and materials including social media marketing and promotional photos.
    • The use of the Jane Practice Management system.
    • Access to a personalized company email address.
    • Online scheduling of appointments.
    • Competitive split fee compensation with room for advancement.
    • Flexible schedule for part-time and full-time hours.
